How to get a Google Music Invite
Google Music is here, and much like Gmail, Wave, Voice, etc, its going to work on an invitation-only beta in the US.
The only way reported so far to get an invite is to know someone at Google, or drop your name into the hat here:

FYI, got my invite today. It recognized more than 10,000 songs, and started the upload process. We’ll see how much it gets :-)
